I always love shooting for Catherine because she’s not afraid to push the envelope. Her design for this year’s SF Decorator Showcase is certainly no exception. The concept that won her the coveted Living Room in the Pacific Heights mansion is based on Mick & Bianca Jagger’s young & wild, traipsing-to-Saint Troupez years. I’m in love with the Cy Twombly inspired hand-painted floor and the massive, luxe barn doors fitted with brass pyramid studs. We’re proud to be involved in shooting the interior portfolio for the launch of Jean Liu Design, a Dallas, TX based Interior Design Firm. Timed with her feature as taste maker on One Kings Lane, we just had to share a few of our favorite frames from selected works in the Jean Liu portfolio. I’m absolutely loving the bold colors and modern lines in this W Hotel private residental space, while the grace and refined finishes in the second set show off the designer’s light, sophisticated palate.
